Team building your people will keep talking about

Cyber Box is a company team-building event in the form of a team game. In groups of 6–8, participants spend 120 minutes opening a box full of puzzles together. To succeed, they have to talk to each other, share information and make decisions under time pressure.

A live team-building game about real cyber threats.

Why companies invest in team building and what this game delivers

Good team building is more than a pleasant evening. It should get people talking to each other after they are back at work, too. In Cyber Box this happens naturally:

  • Communication. Clues are scattered, so nobody can solve the tasks alone.
  • Cooperation. Every team has the same box and the same goal. Whoever finishes early helps the others.
  • Everyone involved. There are enough tasks for everyone to have something to do, including people who usually stay on the sidelines.
  • A shared topic. After the game there is something to talk about: a fake email, a cloned voice, a trap the whole team fell into.

What participants say

“Besides bringing us together, the game gave us great fun and a great experience. We also learned a lot about cyber threats, in a light, easy and enjoyable way.”

Which events is Cyber Box a good fit for

The game can be added to practically any gathering where people should get to know each other better:

  • a company retreat and all-hands meeting,
  • a team or department meeting, including after changes in the team,
  • a meeting with clients or partners,
  • a gathering of association or industry organisation members,
  • a conference as a session between talks.

The game takes 120 minutes, so it fits into the day’s programme and does not require a separate trip.

Team building for a team, a department or the whole company

A single game can host 10 to 160 participants. Everyone plays at the same time and in the same place, with a shared clock counting down for all. That makes the game work just as well for a team of a dozen as for several departments at once.

No technical knowledge or physical fitness is needed. It works well in mixed groups: different departments, roles and seniority.

Team building with a theme that makes sense

The storyline is built on real cyber threats. Teams run into phishing, deepfakes and social engineering in the form they might encounter at work.

Cyber Box is not training and does not replace it. It is team building that raises awareness: after the game, participants start noticing such situations. If your company runs cybersecurity training, the game is a good complement to it. You can read more about the game on the Cyber Box homepage.
